Forward Collision Warning System (FCWS) provides a warning message and chime to alert you when rapidly approaching a slower moving, braking, or stopped vehicle.

LDWS

Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS) is a camera-based system that monitors the position of your vehicle within its lane and helps warn you if it deviates, or is about to deviate, from the lane.

SCC

Smart Cruise Control (SCC) is a radar-based technology that helps you adapt to changing conditions on the road and maintain a safe distance from vehicles in front by automatically slowing or accelerating your Soul when needed.

BSD

The available radar-based Blind Spot Detection (BSD) issues visual or auditory signals to help warn you of objects not in your field of view.

Structure

Designed for added protection, the Soul's front and rear crumple zones help absorb and dissipate the energy from an impact. Side-impact steel beams reinforce the doors to help absorb impact energy and deflect side-impact force.

Child-Safe

Securely and conveniently install a child seat with the Lower Anchors and Tethers for Children (LATCH) system. Plus, rear child-safety door locks allow you to turn off the interior door-opening mechanism, preventing passengers from opening the rear doors from the inside.

Seat Belts

Complete with over-the-lap and shoulder straps, each seat in the Soul includes 3-point seat belts to help secure you and your passengers during an impact. And front seat-belt pre-tensioners are made to tighten up the slack on seat belts to help keep occupants restrained during certain collisions.
