Kia Certified Pre-Owned Extended Protection Plans
For eligible used vehicles, Kia offers five vehicle protection plans through its Kia Protection Plan program to provide you with additional service and repair protection for your vehicle.
When you choose the Kia Protection Plan that's right for you, you can purchase protection for your eligible vehicle, depending on the age and mileage of your vehicle.
Kia Powertrain coverage includes the major parts on your vehicle and offers protection against many major mechanical breakdowns.
ENGINE: Engine block and cylinder heads and all internally lubricated parts.
TRANSMISSION/TRANSAXLE/ TRANSFER CASE: Transmission/transaxle case and all internally lubricated parts (STANDARD TRANSMISSION CLUTCH ASSEMBLIES AND ALL COMPONENT PARTS ARE NOT COVERED.)
DRIVE AXLE: Differential/axle housing(s) and all internally lubricated parts.
ADDITIONAL HYBRID/PLUG-IN ELECTRIC/COMPRESSED NATURAL GAS COMPONENTS: Please see contract for more details.
Gold Coverage Plan
Gold offers all of the same features of Powertrain and gold protection plans, plus additional coverages for specific parts of ENGINE, TRANSMISSION, DRIVE AXLE, STEERING, BRAKES, AIR CONDITIONING, FRONT SUSPENSION, ELECTRICAL and ADDITIONAL HYBRID/PLUG-IN ELECTRIC/COMPRESSED NATURAL GAS COMPONENTS. Platinum Coverage Plan
In addition to offering the same features of Powertrain, Silver, Gold and Gold Plus protection plans, Platinum expands to cover almost all assemblies of your vehicle, excluding: brake linings, brake drums and rotors, disc brakepads, standard transmission clutch components and assemblies, air bags, solar powered devices, hinges, glass, lenses, sealed beams, body parts and/or panels, trim, moldings, door handles, lock cylinders, tires, wheels, all batteries except Hybrid/EV/High Voltage batteries as listed under Silver Coverage Plan, light bulbs, upholstery, paint, bright metal, freeze plugs, heater and radiator hoses, exhaust system, shock absorbers, audio/security or other systems not factory installed, work such as front-end alignment or wheel balancing, constant velocity joint boots, safety restraint systems, cellular phones, radar detectors, appliances, or vinyl and convertible tops.
